New Candle Haul - Including A Dupe For Bath & Bodyworks Market Peach!

Hola girlies!
It's candle-o-clock here at The Beauty Belle once again! What can I say, I have an obsession with buying a lot of things, and candles is one of them!
These are all wax tarts though so in my eyes, I've actually been quite good ;)
I got all of these tarts from Ebay, I will list a seller you can buy the tarts from underneath the pictures if I can find one.

Sicilian Lemon - £1.68.
This is a lovely, subtle lemon scent, not quite as strong and overpowering as Sparkling Lemonade, this smells more like actual lemon juice.
I'm not usually a massive fan of lemon scents but I wanted something nice and fresh for Summer.

White Gardenia - £1.68.
I actually got this for my mam because she loves the smell of gardenia's, it's just a nice, light floral scent, I can imagine this scent being a crowd pleaser and being liked by everyone!

This smells EXACTLY like daisies! It's unbelievable how they've captured the scent of daisies and grass on a Summers day in this tart, I can't wait to burn this when the weather gets better.

This is a super strong scent, it really fills the room quickly and can be quite overpowering at times! But if you're burning it in a big room then it'd be great cos you can literally smell it all around my house when I've burnt it before! Smells more of mango than peach, though which is disappointing for me.

Vanilla Lime - £1.68.
I'm loving limes at the moment, lime cheesecake, the Lime Refresher drink from Starbucks, and lime scents from Yankee Candle! I wish they'd launch more because it's such a refreshing change to the usual lemon scents, and vanilla is one of my favourite scents ever so that gives this scent a lovely warmness.

This is a rarer scent which is why it's more expensive than the others, it smells exactly like orange Calippo lollies! really fresh and sweet, reminds me of hot Summer days in the park eating ice lollies :)
Granny Smith - £2.75.
I'm burning this one at the moment in my bedroom, it's a mix of freshness with a slight acidic kick of the granny smith apples, very nice! Smells like straight-up apple juice.

Summer Scoop - £1.95.
O. M. G.
This smells exactly like strawberry ice-cream!! It's crazy, I haven't burnt this yet, I'm, again, saving it for the good weather but as soon as the sun comes out from behind the clouds again I will be cracking this out and craving strawberry ice-cream by the truckload!!
Honey Blossom - £1.95.
I'm not usually a floral person but I really like the sweetness of this floral scent, it's not like any other floral Yankee Candle that I've ever smelt!
Plus, the colour of the tart is beautiful and matches my bedroom perfectly ;)

Freestone Peach - £1.68.
This is an amazing scent, it smells like straight up peach! No messing around with this, it just smells like you've cut a peach in half and sniffed it!
This is exactly how people are describing the much-loved Market Peach candle from Bath & Bodyworks, as just a straight up peach, so as we can't get hold of that candle in the UK this is an amazing dupe for it!
The scent throw for Kringle Candles are amazing too, they're owned by Yankee Candle so you get the same quality, they're just simpler and more uncomplicated scents.
Bartlett Pear - £1.68.
I'm burning this at the moment, like the peach one this just smells like fresh pears, nothing more and nothing less! It's amazing how they can replicate scents so perfectly!

And that's that!
As you can see, I didn't go too mad....ok fair enough, I did! And I can't promise I won't be buying more, but hey-ho! We all have to have a hobby!

Thanks for reading! And if you have any favourite candles you would like to recommend to me then please do :)

TTFN!

NUXE Reve De Miel Lip Balm - A Letdown!

Hello cats and kittens!
How are we all doing? I'm currently suffering from toothache (again), my sensitive teeth are playing up so I think I'm going to have invest in some more sensitive toothpaste, I mean to keep using it all the time but then I get suckered into whitening toothpastes, which probably do nothing for my sensitivity!
But on the upside, I have a one day week this week, I'm only working Wednesday, so don't feel too sorry for me ;)
Moving onto the review!
As you can see from the title, this review is not an entirely positive one! I first heard about the NUXE Reve De Miel lip balm from the famous Miss Essie Button, she said she loved it and it was super nourishing and solved her dry lips even when she went home to a pretty chilly Canada, so I was sold!
It's pretty pricey, £9.50 on FeelUnique.com, but I got it when it was 10% off so I wasn't ripped off too royally!
This is what the packaging looks like;
It's lovely packaging, a sturdy, frosted glass jar which houses a very thick, yellow balm which looks a lot like lemon curd, if anyone knows what that is!
It goes on the lips clear though so don't worry about that! It goes on pretty matte and feels thick and heavy on my lips, which I'm not a massive fan of, I'm used to quite slippery lip balms that feel smooth when you rub your lips together (an annoying habit I have that I do all the time).
It smells of honey and lemon, like those Beechams cold and flu powders you can get, not particularly my favourite scent but it's not too bad, plus it has no taste which is a plus point.

It's not that this is a terrible lip balm, I just feel like it's a letdown that isn't good enough for the money you pay for it!
It doesn't last very long on my lips, despite Essie saying it does on her which just shows that everyones taste is different, it hasn't noticeably changed the appearance of my lips and I feel bad reapplying it all the time because it's so pricey!
Plus, I find it sometimes leaves an annoying white residue on the inside of my lips, the kind that some lipglosses leave behind when you've been wearing them a while and they go all claggy! But it only does that sometimes so it might be because my lips are so dry at times.

I am thinking of using this as just a nighttime treatment, and getting the NUXE Reve De Miel Moisturizing Stick for the daytime, as I don't want to write off the whole brand just yet!

Pro's
. Lovely packaging
. Thick enough to use as a overnight treatment
. Natural ingredients mean it'd be good for sensitive skin
. You get a massive 12g of product, meaning it'll last a long time

Cons
. Makes my lips feel sticky
. Not a comfortable texture for me
. Very expensive for a lipbalm

Overall, I'm not saying this lipbalm doesn't work, I'm saying this lipbalm doesn't work FOR ME, by all means if you've got dry lips then give this a try, it might be holy grail for you like it is for so many people!

You can purchase this and plenty of other NUXE products online at FeelUnique.com.

Bargain Rimmel ''Kate Moss'' Lipsticks on Fragrance Direct!

Hi guys (unlikely) and dolls!!
I have an exciting offer to share with you!
I'm a big fan of these Kate Moss from Rimmel lipsticks, they're very creamy and similar in formula to MAC cremesheen lipsticks, and are very pigmented.
They're usually £5.49 in Superdrug and Boots, which is cheap as it is!, but now they're available online at Fragrance Direct for just £1.99!!
So I got three gorgeous pinky shades;
From left to right, I got 05, 19 and 06.

They're beautiful, wearable shades and have that lovely ''lipstick'' smell, like the lipsticks I used to wear when I was very young!

Top is 05, middle is 19 and bottom is 06.
They're super glossy lipsticks, 19 looks shimmery in the above swatch but it's not at all, just the camera flash caught it in a way that makes it look like it contains shimmer.
05 is a darker pink, dusky rose colour, 19 is a brown toned pink and 06 is a bright coral pink, very similar to MAC Impassioned!
I wish they had lovely names rather than just numbers for names though, but that's my only complaint!

So if you're a big fan of these lipsticks I suggest you scurry over to Fragrance Direct, they have so many different shades you're bound to find something to suit you! And if you're unsure as to what the colour looks like, because the little colour swatches Fragrance Direct put on their website aren't very accurate, then just Google the shade name and there'll be plenty of swatches online somewhere :)

Have you found any bargains online lately? Let me know!
Thanks for reading!

New H&M Glitter Nail Varnishes!

Oh helloooo pretty little things!
You, and the nail varnishes of course ;)
Today I'm bringing you these beautiful glitters from H&M's cosmetics line, I love H&M nail varnishes, they're really long lasting and great quality for the price.
They seem to do dupes for current nail trends quite a lot too, I don't know why they're not more famous for their cosmetics!
Swatches abound!

This one is called Copper (one thing H&M don't do well is inspired names, this isn't remotely copper) and is a standard chunky hex glitter in blue, red, gold and silver in a clear base.
The swatch above is one coat, I reckon you could get this to be opaque in about 3-4 coats, but i prefer it as a top-coat myself.

This is definitely my favourite, look how beautifulllllll <3
It's called ''Blue'' (wonder how long it took them to think up that name!) and is a dupe in formula for the Nails Inc ''Feathers'' polishes, except this is bright blue and holographic! (which makes it ten times better obviously!).
It takes 2-3 coats to be opaque and is SO eyecatching on the nails.

This is a really lovely polish, it's what's called a ''flakie'', where there is large pieces of glitter suspended in a clear base, almost like bits of plastic rather than normal glitter actually!
Lots of brands do these flakie nail polishes, but this is definitely the cheapest one I've come across!
And this one is called ''White''.

And that's them!
I think they're all beautiful and well worth the money, whether you're an avid nail varnish collector/addict (like me) or a newbie who's trying to grow their collection, these polishes are completely fool-proof!
And the best thing about these polishes is they retail for £2.99!

You can get them in H&M stores nationwide (possibly worldwide!) or from the H&M website.

Catch you guys later!!

Elegant Touch UV Gel Press-On Nails - Review!

Hi, hello and hola!
Today I'm going to share with you a new product that I've been sent, the Elegant Touch UV Gel Press-On nails! (Longest title for a product ever contender!).
I'm a massive fan of the Impress Press-On nails so when I was sent these I was very excited! You can get them in short or medium length which is superior to the Impress version as they only come in one length.

Application is quite different to the Impress nails, they've got adhesive on the nails whereas these Elegant Touch ones you have to apply the adhesive stickers to your nail and remove the backing then press the nail down on top of it (see below).
I decided to use the lace pattern first, I'm not a massive fan of this pattern really, lace patterns are a bit Miss Havisham for me, but some people might like them and I wanted to save my favourite patterns for a special night out :)

I found these easy to apply, a lot of the stickers were far too big for my nails, I don't know if I have especially small nails but the stickers seemed huge! I cut the bigger ones in half though and used them like that and it seemed to work fine!

As for how long they last, by the second day a couple of my nails were coming loose, and as my Impress nails last the best part of a week I wasn't impressed! So I took them off and applied a few new ones to replace the wobbly ones, and then by the time I went to bed that night they were coming off too! I was very confused until I realised that I'd just applied cuticle oil and the nails that were wobbly were the ones I'd applied it too, so obviously oil lifts the nails off!
I reapplied those nails and didn't apply anymore oil at nighttime and the nails lasted 4 days until I had to take them off for work, so it was my stupid fault all along! DOH.

You can get these in several gorgeous patterns, the glitter ones are especially amazing, and I'd definitely recommend buying them, I do still prefer the Impress nails, but I've only used these once and I use Impress nails all the time so I can't really fairly compare them.
These are also slightly cheaper at £7.10 from Boots and Superdrug whereas Impress prices range from £7.99.

Overall I'm really glad that these press-on nails are being done by more brands than just Impress, I knew they'd catch on sooner or later as they're such a brilliant idea!

Pro's
. Come in lots of amazing patterns and colours.
. Cheaper than the market alternative, Impress nails.
. Lots of adhesive stickers supplied in the packs so you won't run out, even if you make a few mistakes.
. Long-lasting (if you don't use cuticle oil on your nails whilst you're wearing them, doh).
. Easy to understand instructions.
. Come in two different lengths.

Cons
. More complicated to apply than Impress nails.
. Harder to remove, you can't just pull them off unless they're lose, you have to soak them in nail varnish remover, but that's a good thing in some ways because it means they're long lasting.

Elegant Touch UV Gel Press-On nails are available to buy from Boots and Superdrug stores nationwide, and online.

Love you guys!!

Small Drugstore Haul!

Hello again my lovelies!
Happy Thursday!! Not long until the weekend now!
I'm off to Sunderland dog track for a day/night out with my workmates tomorrow, going to watch some doggies run around in the (hopefully) sunshine and have a few drinks and a disco!
Are you guys upto anything nice this weekend?

Anyway! Onto my mini haul, I went shopping this weekend because I got paid last Friday, I didn't buy much but I thought I'd show you guys anyway :)

First I went to Superdrug, all the brushes are on buy one get one half price at the moment, so I thought it'd be rude not to take advantage!!
I got the Expert Face Brush and the Shading Brush, they're both SO unbelievably soft, I haven't used the Shading Brush much yet, I can't decide whether to use it for concealer or eyeshadow, but I LOVE the Expert Face Brush, it's similar to (my all-time fave base brush) the Buffing Brush but smaller and more dense, it applies your foundation flawlessly and is definitely worth the £8.99! The Shading Brush is only £6.99 so I got that one for only £3.50!

If you've read my posts before then I've mentioned these are my favourite facial wipes a few times, and they're currently half price in Superdrug, win!

Then I went to Boots and decided I'd cash in my Advantage Card points! I had over £11 on it (yes, I shop a lot) so I decided to spend them all in one go on a new Tangle Teezer!
I already have one and have had mine for over a year, but I needed a new one because the bristles were getting too bent and it was starting to pull on my hair, I haven't thrown my old one away though, I keep it in my bag for brushing my hair on the go :)
I LOVE Tangle Teezers, they're amazing, I don't know how they make it completely painless to brush your hair, my guess is magic.
These are £10.99, and worth every penny!

And finally, my new favourite deodorant, Dove Go Fresh in grapefruit & lemongrass scent!
It's amazing, so fresh and different to all other deodorants, plus it really does what it says on the tin and stops you from smelling all day!
This was half price in Boots for about £1.60.

And that's that! As I said, not much, but I thought it was worth showing you :)
Hope you're having a good day!
Love you beautiful people!

Lush ''Angels On Bare Skin'' Cleanser - Review!

Long time no see!!
I haven't blogged in a while because I've been pretty busy working but I'm back today with a Lush review!
I used to do a lot of Lush reviews on their bath bombs because my lovely boyfriend buys me Lush things usually for my birthday or Christmas, and for this Christmas he bought me the Angels On Bare Skin cleanser!
I'd heard a lot of stuff about this so was very excited to use it!

As you can see it looks a bit like porridge in the pot, it's made out of ground almonds and when you add water it turns into a almond milk with a few whole almonds in to exfoliate your skin, that may sound like it would be uncomfortable but the almond kernels are smooth so they just offer you a gentle exfoliation.

This is supposed to even out your skin tone, reduce redness and improve the health and appearance of your skin, and it did make my skin feel and look healthier, I can especially appreciate this now I've finished this tub and moved onto other products, because my skin has been breaking out like mad!
I don't think it reduces redness, I do have warm-toned skin with redness in my cheeks and to me it didn't bring the redness down at all.
This lasted me about 3 months, which is an amazing amount of time in my eyes! So even though the Lush cleansers aren't the cheapest ones on the market, they do last you a long time.
The only thing is, they have a expiration date on the top because this product has fresh ingredients in it, but I used my pot a few weeks past the use-by date and nothing terrible happened to me, I think it's more of a guideline than a rule.
I wash mine off with a muslin cloth usually, unless I'm using it in the shower or bath, just to give my dry skin an extra exfoliation.

Pro's
. Leaves your skin looking and feeling soft and smooth.
. Smells yummy, like cherry bakewells!
. Made from all natural ingredients so great for sensitive skin.
. All Lush products are cruelty free, meaning they're not tested on animals (take note other beauty brands!!)
. A little goes a long way, lasts for a long time.

Cons
. Didn't reduce the redness in my skin like it promised.
. Took me a while to get used to the method of application, can be quite messy mixing it with water in your hand.
. If you have very dry, flaky skin this might not be for you, as it is a very mild exfoliation.

And that's my review! I'd definitely use this again, especially now my skin is breaking out like little escaped convicts are living under my skin!!

Angels On Bare Skin is available from Lush stores worldwide and from the Lush website.

Hope you're all having a great week and are looking forward to the weekend!
Love you guys!!
